Team 6B - Red

The Sixth Grade is organized into two teams consisting of academic teachers across the disciplines of Math, Science, Social Studies and Language Arts. Sixth graders also participate in exploratory classes such as Character and Careers, Computers, World Languages and Cultures, Dawn of Technology and Resources for Living as well as Music, Art, Gym, and Health.

It is the goal of the sixth grade teachers to acclimate our incoming students to PV and to help them have a successful and productive year. We work together to facilitate students being successful at managing their new schedules, using their lockers, adjusting to multiple teachers and incorporating various organizational skills into their everyday and school lives. It is also our goal to prepare our students for the seventh grade by introducing them to interdisciplinary and long-term projects.

We strive to provide educational experiences that meet their academic needs while fostering and enhancing positive character development.
