William Sayre
President, Current Term Expires 2012
Bill has lived in Pequannock since 1993. He and his wife, Shereen, have four children in the school district in the high school, junior high and elementary schools. He holds a Bachelor's degree in mathematics from Messiah College. Bill works as a principal and consulting actuary for Milliman, a privately-held consulting firm.

Angelo Stefanides
Vice President Current Term Expires 2014
Angelo is a life-long resident of Pequannock and graduate of PTHS. He holds three degrees, BS Rutgers University Exercise Science, MS Long Island University Exercise Science & Sports Medicine and Masters in Physical Therapy from Mercy College. Angelo is a licensed physical therapist in NJ with over fifteen years leadership/management experience in the delivery of healthcare services and is the owner of Alpha Therapy Services, a private physical therapy practice in Pequannock Township. Angelo and his wife Maureen have three children that are currently students in the Pequannock Township School District, one at NBS, one at PVMS and one at PTHS.

David Swezey
Board Member Current Term Expires 2014
David has been a resident of Pequannock since 1993. He and his wife, Cathy have 3 children, one a graduate and two currently in Pequannock schools. He holds a BA in Communications with a focus on media communications from McDaniel College. David currently works for Merkle, Inc. a CRM Agency as their Director of Retail Markets.

Joe has been a resident of Pequannock since 1970. He holds a Bachelor's degree in business from William Paterson and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He retired in 2000 after 28 years with Schering Plough Pharmaceuticals where he directed an Information Systems department for the Animal Health division. Joe was on the Board of Education in Pequannock from 2008 to 2011 and served 2 years as BOE President. His second 3 year term began April 2012. He and his wife, Pat, raised 3 children in town. All 3 children attended and graduated from Pequannock township public schools and then went on to gain college degrees.
John Buonomo
Board Member Current Term Expires 2013
John has been a resident of Pequannock since 2000. He is a 1989 graduate of East Carolina University and holds a BS degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance. Prior to being elected to the Board, John served as the President of the PTHS Band Parents Association. He is currently a Senior Vice President of a Securities processing firm in New York. John and his wife Carmen have graduated two children through PTHS.

Kenneth Hardaker
Board Member, Current Term Expires 2013
Ken was born in Pequannock, educated (K-12) in PTSD schools and is a 1980 PTHS graduate. Ken is also a graduate of Montclair State University with a BA in Economics. He is the managing partner at BetterBizWorks, LLC located in Lincoln Park. Ken and his wife Dara have 5 children, three graduated PTHS, one currently attending PTHS and another as Hillview Elementary.

Matthew Tengi
Board Member Current Term Expires 2014
Matthew Tengi is a lifelong resident of Pequannock Township where he resides with his wife of 19 years, Jacki and two sons ages 16 and 13 who both attend Pequannock's schools. Mr. Tengi attended Pequannock Township's schools and graduated from PTHS in 1982. He earned his BA degree from Colgate University in1986 and an MBA from Vanderbilt's Owen School of Management in 1990. Upon graduating Vanderbilt, he secured a job with Tudor Investment where he has worked for the past 20+ years.

William H. Trusheim, Ed.D
Superintendent
Dr. Trusheim is a twenty-four-year veteran as an administrator in the Pequannock Township Schools. Prior to becoming Superintendent, Dr. Trusheim served as Principal of Pequannock Valley School for fourteen years. During that time, Pequannock Valley School was named "New Jersey School of Character" and National Finalist for "National School of Character" in 2006. Additionally, programs at PV received several Best Practice Awards from the State of New Jersey and from the Character Education Partnership in Washington, D.C. Dr. Trusheim has done numerous presentations on Random Drug Testing, Character Education, and School CLimate at the local, state, and national levels. Dr. Trusheim served as Director of Adult Education, Director of Fine and Performing Arts, Middle School Assistant Principal, and Middle School Principal, before becoming Superintendent in February 2009.
Dr. Trusheim began his career in public education in 1970 as Director of Bands at South River High School where he also served as Music Department Chairman. Dr. Trusheim earned his B.A. in Music Education from Rutgers College, his M.Ed. in Administration from Trenton State College (now The College of New Jersey) and his Doctor of Education (Ed.D) degree from the Rutgers Graduate School of Education.

Rosalie Winning
Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction
Rosalie graduated from PTHS and holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Masters of Education and a Masters of Educational Leadership. In 1992 Rosalie extended her connection with Pequannock Township School District as a High School Chemistry Teacher, then was promoted to Director of Curriculum and Instruction and currently serves as Assistant Superintendent. Rosalie facilitates the Board of Education Curriculum and Instruction Committee. She also sits on the Personnel and Management Committee and the Finance and Physical Plant Committee. Rosalie is an adjunct professor at the College of Saint Elizabeth (CSE) in the Graduate Education Program. She is currently enrolled in the CSE doctoral program focusing her dissertation research on science education. Rosalie, Brian (Husband) and their daughter Brianna live in Pompton Plains. Brianna joined her mother as a PTHS graduate and is pursuing a degree in education.
