Preschool Registration

2023-24 Preschool Program

The Preschool Application and Selection procedure has been updated for the 2023-2024 school year due to current and projected student needs in the district.  The tuition rate has been updated to align with current costs while remaining under the State's average per pupil cost.

Applications are now available for our 2023-2024 Preschool Program

Please complete this 2023-24 Application and return the completed application and a copy of your child's birth certificate to the Board of Education offices by April 16, 2023.

Applications and birth certificate copies can be emailed to Colleen Smith at colleen.smith@pequannock.org or mailed to the Board of Education offices 538 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Pompton Plains, NJ 07444.

• April 16, 2023 - Applications close - any applications received after the close will be put on the waitlist
• Early May 2023 - Lottery is drawn - acceptance and waitlist letters are sent to the parents
• June 9. 2023 - Contracts and deposits are due to the Board of Education offices - if not received, the held spot in the program will be forfeited and the next name on the waitlist will be contacted

Once the application deadline has passed, all applications will be reviewed for completeness and assignments will be made based on available openings and a lottery system, if necessary. All applications will be placed in the lottery system.  

Siblings of current students will not have priority for openings.

Once assignments are made parents will be notified whether their child was accepted or placed on the wait list. 

Accepted students will be required to complete the online pre-registration and supply all necessary documents for district registration.  A contract will be sent to the parents and must be returned along with the $250.00 non-refundable deposit by June 9, 2023.  The executed contract, deposit and all registration documents must be returned by June 9, 2023 to hold your child's spot in the program.

PM   11:55-2:45
Full Day  8:15-2:45

Preschool Tuition for 2023-2024:
Full Day:  $7,500.00
Half Day:  $3,995.00
